The traditional playing-card deck contains 52 cards—the same number of weeks in a standard year. Cardology uses the deck as a symbolic calendar, connecting cards with dates, planetary themes and repeating cycles.

In Cardology, a card can take on different meaning depending on the symbolic planetary position in which it appears.

A card in Saturn may be considered through lessons, discipline or long-term growth.
